O-m- God! The second installment of Sarah J. Maas's thrilling series hasn't disappointed. I don't like Chaol much in this book. Don't ship Chalena. NOPE! Celorian is my love.
To begin with Nehemia, my sweet baby Nehemia. The fact that she sacrificed her life to push Celaena into helping all of the country. I hate that she did that. But she knew what it would do to Celaena, how did she know it would motivate Celaena and not break her. Initiateing her own death was excessive and uncalled for, but it seemed to work.
Chaol... What the fuck is wrong with him. How can you not tell anyone especially Celaena about the death on her best-friends life. I think his actions were stupid and his blind loyalty is at fault. At the same time i pity him. And when Celaena almost killed him i felt pain because i may not like him but i would not wish death upon him. If Chaol dies so does Dorian. Those two are like parabatai. (The Mortal Instruments)
Dorian is still so cute. I love him so much. I hate how Celaena treats him though. How she chose Chaol over Dorian. He is so lost and confused about his magic. Yes! Dorian has magic. Raw magic, it can be willed as he wishes. Being a person with magic and living in the castle is dangerous. I can't wait to see how this plays out.
God!! can we just point out that Celaena is not Celaena any longer. Talk about lost princesses. Aelin Ashyver Galathynius. What willl we call her? Finally we will meet the infamous Maeve Aelin's Fae aunt. Hopefully she learns to control her powers and fights back.
